BUSINESS BROKER DIVISION MANAGER
We are currently seeking to hire an experienced Business Broker to assist in managing our Business Brokerage division from our downtown Chicago office under the direction of our leadership.
A Real Estate License is not required at the time of hire. You will be responsible for growth and production for the Business Brokerage Division.
This role has two parts to it :
1. Procure business listings using our database of service-industry buyer clientele.
2. Develop Prospect Equities' growth through acquisition and franchising.
The Division Manager is expected to support and promote all company products, services, programs, and personnel to fulfill the company’s vision of delivering an extraordinary service experience for its clientele.
This is an opportunity for an experienced Business Broker with a desire to manage their own department, handle office responsibilities, and grow production.
Qualified candidates must be willing to grow their knowledge base, training skills, and leadership abilities.
Compensation and Benefits
- $40,000 - $70,000 salary range based on your current experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Onsite required.
- Develop our Business Brokerage Division.
- Meet Division production goals.
- Operate the Sales Division to budget.
- Build your team of producers.
- Utilize the company’s training and script programs.
- Work with the Marketing Team to develop advertising for your department.
- Conduct weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly coaching and / or accountability meetings with your department.
- Assist Administration and QC with files and contracts.
- Attend and actively participate in company-sponsored events.
- Comply with and enforce all company policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree at a minimum.
- Minimum of 5 years of Business Brokerage experience.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Expertise in the Business Valuation.
- Leadership skills to guide a team of sales associates successfully.
- Should be closing $3 - 6 million in annual sales volume.
