Plant Production Scheduler

As the Plant Production Scheduler in Kansas City, KS, youll have the opportunity to lead scheduling activities within the facility while supporting our human resources, labor, and employee relations team.

Our Plant Production Scheduler will play a crucial role in ensuring our production schedule runs efficiently. Beyond the core HR duties, youll dive into various other tasks, reflecting the dynamic nature of the position.

The schedule for this position is Wednesday through Saturday, 8 : 30 am to 8 : 30 pm. Flexibility with the schedule will be required.

A Taste of What Youll Be Doing

• Data-driven Youll report on HR metrics as needed, maintain personnel files, and administer leaves of absence.
• Drive Efficiency Youll contribute to efficient operations and maintain labor relations by accurately scheduling employees according to the plants collective bargaining agreements.
• Collaboration is Key Youll have the chance to be hands-on by partnering with Shift Operations to process production paperwork, conduct investigations, issue attendance disciplines, and research grievances and complaints.
• Set the Pace Getting new employees off to a great start sets the pace. Youll prepare training materials and maintain documentation for new hire orientations, safety training, and job-specific training.

Were Looking for Someone With

• High School Diploma / GED with relevant experience.
• Effective organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to function in a union environment and promote positive employee relations.
• Intermediate to advanced computer skills primarily Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
