Accounting Clerk Responsibilities :
- Assist with various accounting functions as needed, including balance sheet reconciliations and special projects.
- Will be assisting with accounting department audits and peak season tasks as needed.
- Accounts Payable : Process and mail vendor checks weekly.
- File all payment documentation in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts payable aging.
- Accounts Receivable : Apply customer payments from various sources (checks, credit cards, ACHs, wire payments).
Job Requirements :
Skills and Qualifications :
- Degree in Accounting or Business
- Minimum 1 year accounting experience
- Typing speed exceeding 40 WPM
- Attention to detail
- Strong clerical, analytical and organization skills
- Intermediate Excel proficiency
Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to) : $18.00 - $20.00
