My centrally located NE Ohio client is seeking to add a growth-based position on their highly influential Data team. The team has decided to grow in order to meet expectations for a highly visible and game-changing clientele.

You will have the ability to build a Data Warehouse, Data Modeling, and ETL Database Administration (if you don't already know it!).

If you have 5+ years of data warehouse and ETL experience and are familiar with, or want to learn, in high availability SQL environment, then read on!

Roles / Responsibilities of SQL Data Engineer

• Business Intelligence and data warehouse development for ingestion of large data sets that will then be reported on
• Developing ETL and DW pipes for Reports and SQL Development (Biggest part of role and must show experience / aptitude)
• PowerBI (intermediate to advanced skills needed)
• Writing, editing and optimizing moderately complex SQL queries and T-SQL statements
• MS SQL Server table development and maintenance, troubleshooting and installations(Secondary)
• Database and Data Warehouse design / architecture is the main I.T. skills needed
• Ability to perform other IT operational duties as required.

Must have Qualifications for SQL Data Engineer- BI / DW / ETL

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience
• Local to NE Ohio and interested in going into the office (no exceptions)
• Great communication and personality (you will be working in non-siloed environment)
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in MS SQL Server.
• Tools such as PowerBI, SSIS, SSRS and SQL development experience is a must
• Dimensional modelling and the use of DAX
• Python, C#, SQL, developer skills ( 3+ years)
