The Jewish Community Campus, located in Overland Park, is a 280,000 square foot building on 29-acre grounds. The building is home to nine agencies including the Jewish Community Center of Greater Kansas City. The building includes a preschool; K-12 private school; 500-seat theater; fitness center; indoor and outdoor pool; commercial kitchens; private offices; and public meeting / rental spaces.

The Building Engineer is responsible for performing a wide variety of duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain facility equipment and grounds according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes.

Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, the Building Engineer is regularly required to talk and hear. Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and / or move items over 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
