Our ideal Account Manager has 5+ years of PR experience either working at an agency or inhouse and are ready to elevate your career.
You need solid media relationships in the cybersecurity industry. You are organized and have clear communication skills.

Key functions :
- Manage 4-5 accounts successfully, consistently meeting or exceeding client goals and receiving positive feedback from clients.
- Act as the day-to-day team lead, communicating with the client contacts and divvying up tasks amongst the team
- Generate results, putting together work back plans and ensuring the team meets deadlines
- Develop strong relationships with clients
- Bring and develop strong relationships with media and influencers in the cybersecurity space
- Write press releases, pitches and plans that help generate successful media results
- Mentor and manage junior team members and be an effective skills trainer
- Oversee a program consisting of sophisticated data entry and evaluation
- Coach team members on the importance of attention to detail, time management, and accuracy (key components for reporting and measurement program)
- Manage your own time, and your team’s time, aligning budget to the scope of work for each team
- Be an expert in your client's business, understanding the technology, their business
Requirements :
- Recent agency experience with 1 or more accounts focused on cybersecurity
- Traditional communications experience (media relations, content, social media, etc.) and clear examples of campaigns you have worked on, and the results generated
- Experience in the B2B tech industry such as Cybersecurity, AdTech / MarTech, SaaS, FinTech, CleanTech, Data & Analytics Technology, Security, etc.
- Hands on experience not just managing, but truly mentoring and motivating direct reports and cross-functional teammates
- Experience supporting teams with robust reporting and measurement functions
- Strong attention to detail and proficient organization
- Understanding of working in Google Docs, Cision, and other collaboration and PR platforms
- Problem solving skills and solution-oriented approach
- Integrated communications / marketing experience preferred, but not requires
Preferred education :
- Prior PR agency or in-house experience
- Degree in communications, journalism, public administration, English, or related field
