Senior Tax Analyst (Temporary)

- This is an (approximately) 6 month temporary role*
- The (Temporary) Senior Tax Accountant's primary responsibilities involve preparation and / or review of federal, state and local income tax returns, schedules, extensions and estimated tax payments;
management and support of the outsourced Property Tax, Unclaimed Property and San Francisco Payroll Tax filings; and performance of other necessary compliance and support functions.

- Prepare / review federal, state and local income tax returns, estimates, extensions, miscellaneous filings and related workpapers, ensuring timely compliance with applicable laws.
- Manage the information flow with outsourcing partners to ensure the timely filing of property tax, unclaimed property and San Francisco payroll tax returns.
- Research legislative enactments / changes to ensure company compliance with tax laws.
- Analyze and reconcile relevant general ledger accounts.
- Respond to taxing authority notices and inquiries.
- Maintain and manage Onesource income tax compliance tax calendar to ensure all required filings and payments are submitted in a timely manner.

- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
- 3 plus years in an income tax environment.
- CPA license required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal / written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong computer skills - Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience conducting research and interpreting & documenting resolutions.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Physical Requirements :
- Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time.
- Ability to type on a keyboard and operate a PC.
- Ability to converse over a telephone.
- Ability to transport materials or equipment or lifting, moving, carrying objects up to 50 pounds on a limited basis.
- Ability to work in office and perform in a corporate environment.
