Architectural Designer

Architectural Design Staff Austin, Texas Our Austin office is looking for a highly motivated individual with excellent design and communication skills.

The ideal candidate needs to be able to work well with people at all levels of the firm, be ready to contribute to the success of projects varying in type, scale and location.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED : Background / Education

• Professional (NAAB Accredited) Degree in Architecture
• 2-4 years of relevant experience working in an architectural firm as part of a larger project team
• Strong Revit and production skills
• Multi-family housing experience beneficial
• Higher Education / Science-related beneficial

Knowledge and Skillset Required

• Interest in career growth
• Ability and desire to hone technical skills, knowledge of building codes, zoning requirements, building materials, specifications and construction processes.
• Skilled in analytical thinking to support the design process
• Self-motivated individual able to work well in a collaborative office environment
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
• Strong knowledge of Revit, Enscape and Affinity computer programs
• Ability to handle multiple tasks, deadlines and interact effectively with others in the workplace.
• Ability to develop collaborative relationships across the firm
