Superior Duct Fabrication in Tempe, AZ is seeking to fill multiple openings for entry-level production and shipping workers.
No experience necessary. Must be able to pass a basic physical and drug screening.
Available Shift : 6am-2 : 30pm Mon-Fri (May vary depending on needs)
These are union positions (Local 359 SMART). Union membership is mandatory. Union benefits are available to employee.
Job Description :
Production positions : Fabricate, assemble, install, and repair sheet metal products and equipment, such as ducts, control boxes, drainpipes, and furnace casings.
- Work may involve any of the following : setting up and operating fabricating machines to cut, bend, and straighten sheet metal;
- shaping metal over anvils, blocks, or forms using hammer; operating soldering and welding equipment to join sheet metal parts;
or inspecting, assembling, and smoothing seams and joints of burred surfaces.
Shipping positions : May involve forklift operation, lifting and moving materials, packaging product to be prepared for shipping, receiving materials from vendor deliveries.
