Description
Inventory Controller for a local manufacturing facility.
Pay : $16 / hr
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent with work related experience in inventory control, is required.
- Bachelor’s degree, preferred.
- 2-5 years’ relative work experience required.
- Knowledge of systems such as PowerHouse or other WMS is required.
Minimum Qualifications
- Four plus years’ experience in a Warehouse with at least 2+ years as an Inventory Control Supervisory role
- Previous experience operating a forklift in a manufacturing and / or distribution environment.
- Experience working in the Food & / or Beverage industry or other regulated industry with high-quality standards.
- Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles
- Forklift experience.
Some Responsibilities
- Manage ingredients, packaging materials, and finished good inventory.
- Coordinate material transfers between two warehouses.
- Needs to assist in managing FIFO, proper documentation, and other Safety Quality Food (SQF) requirements.
- Regular cycle counting inventory according to prescribed criteria.
- Manage the monthly Inventory reconciliation, shipment generation, and order shipment processes.
