Job Overview
Davies Claims North America is looking for an Account Manager to join our growing team! Reporting to the Assistant Vice President of WC and P&C TPA, you will act as a liaison between Davies Claims North America and TPA clients, brokers, and excess carriers for most client administrative inquiries.
To be successful in this role, you need to be proactive, independent, and take initiative with consistent follow through, possess superb communication skills, both verbal and written, conducted in a timely manner, and display a comfort level working with key people at all levels within an organization.
You must have a High School Diploma or equivalent and have 3-5 years of experience in the insurance claims industry. Additionally, you must be relationship-oriented, have superior time management skills with capability of working with and meeting deadlines, and demonstrate an exceptional capability to multi-task and prioritize with excellent organization and documentation skills in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
This role is a full-time, hybrid position based out of our Lakewood Ranch, FL office; this position may require travel at times for client visits.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Act as a main point of contact for TPA clients, brokers, actuaries, excess carriers, and Davies Claims North America management for reports and dashboard inquiries
- Build and maintain strong and long-term relationships with clients
- Monitor Reports Ticketing system for assignment, preparation, and completion of standard report requests
- Coordinate completion of customized reports with IS internal department including Ad Hoc set up
- Train clients on system navigation, dashboards, and running standard library of reports as needed
- Analyze client data to ensure validity
- Provide FROI and FNOL entry training for clients as needed
- Provide internal training to staff as needed
- Update Customer Relationship Management (CRM) with client and broker contacts
- Assist in the onboarding process for new clients
- Act as a backup for the Account Manager position
- Provide assistance with special projects as requested

Experience and Qualifications
Required
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 3-5 years in the insurance and claims industry
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and various other software programs such as Power BI
- Demonstrate exceptional presentation and public speaking skills
Preferred
- Bachelor's degree
- Previous work experience as an Account Manager

Position Type, Work Environment and Physical Demands
This is a hybrid, full time, salaried, exempt position that predominantly operates onsite and remotely from a professional home-based office environment routinely using standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers, photocopiers, and scanners and requires prolonged periods of sitting at a desk while working on a computer.
While performing the duties of this job, the individual will be required to regularly hear and talk. This is a largely sedentary role requiring the ability to sit at a desk, reach outward, use a phone, have use of fingers to operate office equipment such as a keyboard, mouse, phone, printer, copier, and to reach above the head, bend, or stand as necessary.
