Our rapidly growing firm is seeking a Permanent Controller to join our dynamic team. This is a fully remote role, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home while making a substantial impact on our financial operations.

The ideal candidate will be a seasoned financial professional with a keen eye for detail, superior problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of the financial industry.

This role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience and a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent.

Responsibilities :

As the Permanent Controller, you will play a pivotal role in our financial department. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to :

1. Overseeing all aspects of the financial operations including payroll tax, monthly reporting, and financials.

2. Managing the general ledger and ensuring all financial statements are accurate and in compliance with accounting standards.

3. Performing balance sheet reconciliations and identifying discrepancies.

4. Streamlining and improving financial processes and systems to enhance accuracy and efficiency.

5. Preparing financial reports and presenting findings and recommendations to senior management.

6. Collaborating with external auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance.

7. Interacting with various department heads and team members to help them understand the financial impact of their operations and make informed decisions.

Qualifications :

To be successful in this role, you will need :

1. A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent.

2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the finance industry.

3. Proficiency in payroll tax, monthly reporting, and financials.

4. Expertise in managing a general ledger and performing reconciliations.

5. Strong understanding of accounting principles, laws, and regulations.

6. Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail.

7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

8. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.

9. Proficiency in using accounting software and other financial tools.
