Summary
Position : Pre-K Co-Teacher
Reports to : Director of The New E3 School
Position Overview
The New E3 School is a state-of-the-art, mixed-income model that is setting the standard of excellence in early education across Virginia.
The co- teacher is responsible for providing a high-quality early learning environment for all children, implementing the STREAMin3 curriculum and utilizing the tools.
Our co-teaching team will work collaboratively to set the stage for learning, implement the curriculum, provide strong teacher-child interactions and create an engaging classroom for all children.
Hours available : 8 : 30 am-5 : 30 pm and 9 : 00 am-6 : 00 pm
Duties
- Create a fun and engaging classroom filled with conversation, exploration, discovery and play.
- Maintain a clean, organized and high-quality learning environment.
- Prepare daily STREAM activities and engage children in learning.
- Provide strong teacher-child interactions.
- Implement the Streamin3 curriculum and utilize tools every day.
- Provide individualized, small group and differentiate the learning to meet the needs of all children.
- Communicate effectively with parents about their child’s development.
- Participate in professional development and monitor your plan.
- Know the licensing regulations and comply.

- Knowledge of child development.
- Enthusiasm and a passion for teaching young children.
- Experience and degree in early childhood.
- Able to play, have fun and share a passion for learning.
