Hybrid : Yes, 2 days a week work from home after initial 90-day training period
OT Eligible : YES
Hours per week : 37.5
Daily hours : 8 : 30-5 (can be flexible)
Parking : Monthly Stipend OR Pre-tax transportation

Supporting 1 partner and 2-3 other attorneys as needed
Candidates MUST HAVE e-filing experience
Job Description :
In supporting our litigation group, the candidate will draft and prepare correspondence, handle e-filing, manage calendars and provide clerical, administrative and organizational support to attorneys, paralegals and analysts.
As a candidate, you will stand out by possessing :
- Minimum 3 years of litigation experience;
- Above-average technology skills, including comprehensive understanding and ability to fully utilize all Microsoft Office products;
- Experience e-filing on federal district court and various state court platforms;
- A willingness to share knowledge and collaborate with teams across Shooks 19 offices and practice groups;
- Strong attention-to-detail demonstrated by work product.
Requirements :
- High School diploma or GED and three years related experience, OR equivalent combination of education and / or experience.
- Bachelor's degree, ALS, PLS, CAP, or Paralegal certificate preferred.
- Must have basic legal terminology and an awareness of court filing requirements.
- Must be able to use legal citations and apply to firm documents.
- Working knowledge of time entry software, Microsoft Word (styles & tables), Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Skilled in the use of a redlining tool.
- Ability to type 50 WPM.
- Ability to anticipate, identify, and proactively implement actions that allow timekeepers to be efficient and effective in serving client needs.
