PositionOverview :
As a Senior CNCProgrammer you will be responsible for developing optimizing andtroubleshooting CNC programs to ensure efficient productionprocesses.
You will collaborate closely with engineering productionand quality control teams to meet project deadlines and qualitystandards.
KeyResponsibilities :
- DevelopCNC programs using CAM (ComputerAided Manufacturing) software basedon engineering drawings andspecifications.
- Optimize existingCNC programs to improve efficiency reduce cycle times and minimizematerial waste.
- Collaborate with engineers anddesigners to ensure CNC programs meet technical requirements andquality standards.
- Troubleshoot and debug CNCprograms to resolve issues and minimize machinedowntime.
- Conduct tooling selection andtoolpath optimization to achieve desired surface finish anddimensional accuracy.
- Perform periodicmaintenance and calibration of CNC machines to ensure optimalperformance.
Qualifications :
- Bachelorsdegree in mechanical engineering Manufacturing Engineering or arelated field; or equivalent workexperience.
- Proven experience as aCNC Programmer in a manufacturingenvironment.
- Proficiency in CAM software suchas Mastercam GibbsCAM or similar. Indepth knowledge of CNCmachining processes tooling andmaterials.
- Strong problemsolving skills andattention to detail.
- Ability to workindependently and prioritize taskseffectively.
- Familiarity with GD&T(Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) and blueprintreading.
- Experience with multiaxis machiningand complex part geometries is aplus.
- Knowledge of Lean manufacturingprinciples is desirable.
