Position Summary
Teach two to three undergraduate computer science courses.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Participate in and promote a culture of continuing quality improvement
- Prepare and teach lessons
- Assign learning activities as appropriate
- Assess student learning
- Grade student work
- Meet with students
Minimum Requirements
- Master's degree in Computer Science or Computer Science Education (or equivalent)
- Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position
- Willingness to support the Catholic and Franciscan values of the university
Preferred Requirements
- Prior experience teaching computer science at the college level
- Ability to teach courses related to information technology, hardware, and / or programming languages
- Willingness to teach in-person, USF Main Campus in Joliet
Hours / Shift / Work Schedule
Part-time; as needed basis.
Physical Requirements of Position
Work is performed in classroom settings with minimal exposure to health or safety hazards. This is sedentary work which requires the following physical activities : sitting, walking, bending, stooping, finger dexterity, repetitive motions, talking, hearing and visual acuity.
