We are looking for an Order Management Specialist to join our team.
We are seeking a detail-oriented team player to assist in the daily functions of the Order Management Department. This in-office position works closely with the Sales & Finance teams to ensure that all customer sales are accurately ordered and invoiced.
To be successful in this role, you must be eager to learn, analytical and detail-oriented, possess excellent interpersonal skills, and be adaptable to system & process changes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following :
- Assist with the daily review of open / pending sales orders
- Responsible for the timely and efficient processing of sales orders
- Accurate entry of new and renewal customer orders into vendor portals and QuickBooks
- Distribution of order confirmations to customers and Sales team
- Assist with the completion of returns / exchanges
- Processing of customer credit card payments
- Distribution of software codes to customers
- Resolving customer issues
- Assist sales team related to questions regarding customer accounts
- Filing of completed paperwork
- Ability to work extended hours during end of month / end of year cycles
Essential Education, Skills and Experience :
- Strong attention to detail to accurately enter data, research and resolve issues
- Strong customer service focus with excellent communication skills
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Aptitude for numbers
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks
- Team player and willing to learn
- Must be able to work independently, and as part of a team
- Self-motivated in an environment that demands persistence and drive
- Competency in MS Office, databases and accounting software
- Experience with QuickBooks a plus
- Experience with Salesforce a plus
