Focus Capital is supporting its systematic options strategies and real-time market data divisions by hiring a DevOps Systems Engineer with diverse experience in DevOps lifecycles, infrastructure and technical automation in a real-time trading environment.
Both teams are best of breed, and in each you would interface with the top strategists in the field.
In the systematic options team, you will assist in deploying an advanced real-time trading system by working with the software engineers and interfacing with the portfolio managers, traders and quants who use the system each day.
In the market data team, you will assist in building and deploying a state-of-the-art next gen market data research and integration platform that is being built from scratch.
In both instances, you will be responsible for the CI / CD and deployment and maintenance of cloud and on-premise environments.
Both teams are based in NYC, but there is some remote flexibility depending on your location.
Minimum Requirements :
- 5+ years of DevOps or Systems Engineering experience, ideally on the buyside.
- Proven experience with CI / CD and IaC (Infrastructure as Code)
- SQL expertise
- Experience with Python scripting
- C++ exposure is a plus
- Gitlab, TeamCity and / or Jenkins experience
- Prior experience working in a Linux environment.
- Experience with container technologies like Docker
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, mathematics or a related field of study.
