Pay : $90,000 - $125,000 annually
The Vice President of Education Services is responsible for strategic leadership, stakeholder engagement, and oversight of several departments.
Core Responsibilities
- Develop and implement agency organizational strategies.
- Provide regular and ongoing supervision of activities of all assigned staff.
- Train / support Education Directors with recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of building staff.
- Train / support Education Directors with onboarding of new staff and staff retention strategies.
- Facilitate communication across programs using data with a focus on increasing organizational efficiency.
- Contribute to the formulation of policies and development of short and long-term planning to accomplish the Agency mission.
- Coordinate expansion of services, develop new programs and innovate to keep up with program and participant needs.
- Interpret, implement, and ensure compliance with the policies, procedures and regulations of the Agency and external regulatory bodies.
- Ensure the quality of all division programs through quality assurance and continuous quality improvement activities.
- Provide Agency-wide leadership and supervision as a part of Agency program leadership.
- In collaboration with executive administrative staff, provide senior leadership for future strategic expansion and restructuring of education age services.
- Maintain internal and external contacts with service providers to meet program needs and objectives.
- Advance the overall program model with a strong foundation in Applied Behavior Analysis.
Qualifications
- NYS certification as a school district leader required.
- Bachelors Degree in related field; Masters degree preferred.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience, 7 preferred.
- Preferred experience working in special education or in the IDD field.
- Preferred experience with ABA; willingness to complete RBT coursework at a minimum.
- Must have a valid NYS Driver’s License.
