Job Summary In this role, the psychometrist is an integral part of the assessment process. The person in this role is responsible for administering and scoring a variety of neuropsychological tests for individuals referred for evaluation.
Under the supervisor of licensed neuropsychologists, your responsibilities will include conducting standardized assessments, managing testing materials and maintaining precise records of test administration.
Your expertise and attention to detail will contribute to significantly to the accuracy and effectiveness of our diagnostic services.
Clarity Psychological Testing is based out of California and Massachusetts. Our team is primarily a remote workforce across the U.
S. and we strive for efficiency, teamwork and providing top tier services to those in need. Due to the nature of the services we offer and remaining cohesive, it is imperative that complete follow-through is practiced.
Essential Duties and Responsbilities Include : Administer neuropsychological tests to patients as directed by licensed psychologists.
Ensure proper setup and administration of assessment tools according to standardized protocols. Accurately score and record test results for further analysis by the supervising psychologist.
Establish rapport with patients to ensure optimal testing conditions maintaining strict confidentiality and adhering to ethical guidelines in handling patient information.
Organize and schedule patient appointments efficiently. Ensuring the proper maintenance and calibration of assessment equipment and materials.
Staying updated with current research and best practices in neuropsychological testing administration. Participate in the training of new psychometrists and attend monthly meetings and other required trainings.
Experience and Qualifications Excellent observation and communication skills Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to analyze test results and interpret psychological data. High level attention to detail and accuracy in test administration and scoring.
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and familiarity with relevant ethical guidelines. Proficiency in technology, working on platforms such as Google Forms, publisher, asana, and CRM’s.
Professional and team-oriented approach with strong written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrates inclusivity, sensitivity, and experience working with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
Knowledge of various neuropsychological tests and assessment tools. Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Neuroscience or other related fields Certification from the National Associate of Psychometrists preferred Minimum of three years’ experience in a therapeutic, educational, or healthcare setting.
Proficiency with psychological testing and assessment instruments Experience working with patients with psychiatric, social, emotional and behavioral concerns.
This is an in-person role in our Mission Viejo, CA office. This role is anticipated to work 20 hours per week and may increase or decrease based upon operating need. Powered by JazzHR
