Job Summary :
Delray Buick GMC is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Detail Professional. As a key member of our dealership, you will be responsible for ensuring that all vehicles are thoroughly cleaned and maintained to meet our high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
This is a full-time position in the auto industry, based in Delray Beach, Florida.
Compensation & Benefits :
This is a full-time, salaried position with a competitive hourly rate of $17 to $20 per hour, paid biweekly. The successful candidate will also have access to our comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement planning options.
Responsibilities :
- Clean and maintain new and used vehicles in accordance with dealership standards and customer expectations
- Perform exterior and interior detailing, including washing, waxing, and vacuuming of vehicles
- Inspect and address any damages or imperfections on vehicles, such as scratches, dents, or stains
- Apply paint and upholstery protection treatments as needed
- Keep an inventory of detailing supplies and equipment, and communicate any needs to management
- Ensure that vehicles are ready for customer delivery in a timely and efficient manner
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with other departments to meet dealership goals
- Maintain a neat and organized work area
- Adhere to safety regulations and company policies at all times
Requirements :
- At least 1 year of experience in automotive detailing or a related field
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision
- Knowledge of different detailing techniques and products
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
- Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various weather conditions
