RESPONSIBILITIES :
Job duties include, but are not limited to :
- Provide a high level of customer service to the University community
- Receive and record student and non-student account payments in the Banner ERP system;
- Assist current, inactive, and future students with account, payment, and refund information;
- Assist with processing and recording third-party scholarships and veteran's assistance payments in the Banner ERP system;
- Issue ID cards and parking permits;
- Accept departmental deposits;
- Balance cash and prepare cash report for daily receipts;
- Prepare forms, letters, and itemized account statements as appropriate for students, faculty, and staff;
- Respond to questions and inquiries in a timely manner, to include answering phone calls and emails;
- Provide University information to faculty, staff, students, and visitors; and
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
The position reports to the Student Accounts Supervisor.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS : Graduate of a standard high school or equivalent. One year of related experience. Related post-secondary courses may be substituted for experience.
Excellent communication skills. Ability to maintain accurate records. Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS : An earned bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited university. Two years or more of related job experience.
