Wiese USA, one of the nation’s largest material handling dealerships, has an immediate need for a Facilities / Property Manager to join our corporate team headquartered in St.
Louis. Wiese operates from over 40 locations across 25 states.
In this role, you are charged with ensuring that the commercial properties, owned and / or leased, meet the needs of our company.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Initiate or assist with the buying and selling of properties in the portfolio.
- Manages the research, analysis, and negotiating activities required to assess opportunities for acquiring additional locations, land, or buildings.
- Oversees budgets, lease administration, and tenant service delivery.
- Responsible for coordinating routine and emergency maintenance, selecting and managing contractors, and leading property improvement projects.
- Directs day-to-day construction project management planning and execution processes to meet project design requirements, schedules, and organizational financial objectives.
- Manages governance of projects by establishing standards, processes, and tools for effective project management throughout the project lifecycle.
- Uses comprehensive knowledge of construction processes and operations to set project productivity and quality targets.
- Monitors all project milestones, changes, and technical status reports.
- Responds to escalated project issues that may impede project delivery and coordinates solutions.
- Assists in the preparation, review, and administration of contractual proposals relating to construction projects.
- Responsible for preparing bids and negotiating specifications for materials, equipment, manpower, or other construction services.
- Secures all necessary approvals and ensures that standard company procedures are followed.
- Liaises with clients, designers, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure deliverables, requirements, schedules, costs, and meeting plans are documented and communicated.
