Production Supervisor - 2nd Shift

As a Production Supervisor for the 2nd Shift in Ripon WI you will lead and support your team in the Dryer area. This role is pivotal in coordinating daily activities to meet production requirements ensuring the success of your team members.

The working hours for this position are from 2 : 30 PM to 1 AM Monday through Thursday with the possibility of overtime on Fridays.

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain an environment focused on continuous improvement

  • Ensure respectful treatment of all team members in discussions and decisions
  • Eliminate waste and develop team member skills to enhance lean operations
  • Ensure employees receive proper training in safety quality equipment operation and 5S practices
  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee relations issues
  • Interface with Union Stewards regarding contract and disciplinary matters
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • 13 years of experience in a medium / high volume fastpaced manufacturing environment
  • Experience with mechanical and hydraulic press operations is beneficial
  • Previous assembly line supervision experience preferred
  • Strong leadership capabilities including coaching and mentoring skills

Education Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in Business Manufacturing Engineering or Operations preferred
  • Relevant professional experience including internships or coops will be considered

6. Do you have previous Assembly line supervision experience would be preferred.

7. Do you have a basic understanding of process control production scheduling Kaizen Kanban and Lean manufacturing is preferred.

8. Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder.
