Location : We are seeking an experienced Restaurant Server for the Jiminy Peak Mountain Resort located in Hancock, MA.

Jiminy Peak Mountain Resort is the largest ski and snowboard resort in southern New England, summer home to Mountain Adventure Park and the only mountain resort in North America to generate its own energy using alternative wind power.

Jiminy features extensive conference and wedding facilities for groups up to 400 people. Since opening in 1948 Jiminy Peak has evolved to become a four-season resort, offering something for everyone.

Principle Function :

As a part of our hospitality team, you provide outstanding customer service to our patrons. Friendly and welcoming, you immediately attend to each party upon seating.

You patiently provide detailed information about portions, ingredients, and potential food allergens. Having learned our menu inside and out, you also offer recommendations upon request.

You are careful to inform the cooks about any special instructions. You also promptly refill drinks and clear away dirty dishes.

As a team player, you are happy to help wherever needed. In addition to serving-related tasks, you perform other responsibilities like cleaning and presetting tables, stocking, and practicing superior cash handling standards when collecting payments.

You conscientiously adhere to all health codes and complete any side work. You get great satisfaction out of helping to ensure that our guests have a great dining experience!

Qualifications / Skills :

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Training for Intervention Procedures (TIPS) certification or Techniques for Effective Alcohol Management (TEAM) training or equivalent
• 18+ years old
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to maneuver in a tightly-quartered environment

Other Requirements :

Able to work effectively and safely while subject to wet floors, temperature extremes and excessive noise; must be able to lift up to 50 pounds in weight;

must be able to maneuver in an often tightly-quartered environment.

Hours may be extended or irregular to include nights, weekends and holidays.
