Hiring Technical Analyst - Prophet 21
We are in search of a Prophet 21 Technical Analyst with 5+ years of experience to join our clients team in a fully remote role.
The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting Prophet 21 (P21) applications, developing custom reports, performing DynaChange screen customizations, providing SQL support, and offering technical assistance to over 350 users.
Experience with P21 POS is a plus. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced individual to provide expert-level support in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Direct Hire - $120K DOE
Responsibilities :
- Provide advanced troubleshooting and support for Prophet 21 (P21) applications.
- Manage and customize DynaChange screens to enhance user experience and system performance.
- Develop and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts for reporting and data analysis.
- Create and modify reports utilizing P21 and other relevant tools (e.g., SQL Server Reporting Services - SSRS).
- Support 350+ users by resolving system issues, offering training, and ensuring optimal use of P21 functionality.
- Work closely with IT teams and business stakeholders to gather requirements, implement solutions, and ensure the smooth operation of Prophet 21.
- Identify opportunities for system improvements and recommend enhancements to optimize P21 workflows.
- Document processes, technical specifications, and user guides for customizations and solutions.
- Collaborate with third-party vendors as needed for system upgrades, patches, and troubleshooting.
- Stay up-to-date on P21 system updates and emerging technologies to continuously improve system performance.
Qualifications :
- 5+ years of experience in Prophet 21 (P21) ERP system administration, troubleshooting, and customization.
- Strong knowledge of DynaChange functionality and screen customizations.
- Proficient in SQL, including writing complex queries, stored procedures, and database troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience with report development (SSRS or other reporting tools).
- Proven ability to provide user support and troubleshoot P21 issues in a high-demand environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with a distributed team.
- Experience supporting a large user base (preferably 350+ users).
- Experience with P21 POS (Point of Sale) functionality.
- Experience with system integrations and API configurations related to Prophet 21.
- Knowledge of other ERP systems or similar platforms is a plus.
- Familiarity with business processes in distribution or supply chain environments.
