About the Role

• Full-service hospitalist practice at Universityof Maryland (UM) Upper Chesapeake Health locations in Bel Air and Aberdeen
• Part of the University of Maryland MedicalSystem
• University hospital with excellent specialtysupport
• Average 15 patients / day
• Closed ICU, our team is not expected to performprocedures or run codes
• Staffing Model : 23 providers; 12 physicians / 11 APPs
• EMR : EPIC
• Beds 257
• Trauma Level - Level II
• Graduate of an accredited Acute Care NursePractitioner or Physician Assistant Program
• Responsibilitiesinclude providing acute inpatient care within the hospital setting, includingadmitting patients, performing physical exams, ordering tests, diagnosing,performing hospital rounds, and planning for discharge.
