Job Description

What You Will Be Doing :

  • Developing, maintaining, and enhancing complex and diverse software systems (e.g., processing-intensive analytics, novel algorithm development, manipulation of extremely large data sets, real-time systems, and business management information systems) based upon documented requirements.
  • Providing specific input to the software components of system design to include hardware / software trade-offs, software reuse, use of COTS / GOTS in place of new development, and requirements analysis and synthesis from system level to individual software components.
  • Designing, implementing, and integrating software applications or performing software engineering tasks.
  • Utilizing software engineering and design methodologies appropriate to the development, integration, and production environment.
  • Ensuring efficient delivery of software engineering capabilities using industry standards and repeatable processes.
  • Mitigating risks, controlling costs and schedule variance, and effectively managing large-scale, integrated software projects.
  • Reviewing and testing software components for adherence to the design requirements and documenting test results.
  • Participating in DevSecOps processes and practicing principles during all design phases.
  • Participating in developing and delivering training as requested by the government to support applications.
  • Analyzing current in-use technology utilized and developing steps and processes to improve and expand upon them.

Required Skills

Must Have :

  • MUST HAVE a Current and Active Top Secret SCI with Polygraph, as the customer is NOT sponsoring clearances.
  • Must be DoD 8570 compliant at IA Technical (IAT) / IA Management (IAM) Level 2 (Sec+).
  • Experience working on a development team under DoD / DIA DevSecOps process.
  • Experience with Angular JS and / or NODE.

Desired Skills

Nice to Have :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Computer Science and four years of comparable work experience.
  • Ten or more years of program / application operations experience.
  • Experience in the Intelligence Community.
  • Python coding experience.
