PURPOSE : We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our Regional Indirect Purchasing team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in advocating and supporting the business regarding indirect procurement policy and procedure and will be a key contributor in scaling our operation.
JOB DESCRIPTION (DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES)
- Act as main point of contact for all departments for indirect purchases,
- Ensure the indirect policies and processes are respected.
- Review & Validate Indirect Purchase Requisitions for the region according to policies and procedures, Has the authority to approve / reject indirect purchase requisitions, based on the established procedures and by using judgement regarding purchasing best practice and adequacy of information supporting the planned purchase.
- Work closely with indirect strategic sourcing team and support refining the strategy defined for the region based on local nuances.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as legal and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases and contracts.
- Execute and administer requests for proposals (RFPs) or quotes (RFQs) utilizing the Ariba eSourcing platform; also execute eAuction when appropriate.
- Review & validate new indirect supplier request according to policies and procedures
- Collaborate with stakeholders to manage and enhance supplier relationships, acting as a point of contact for inquiries and issues.
- Assumes additional responsibilities as needed or directed in support of the Company’s 2025 Strategy.
BASIC REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in indirect procurement, preferably in an industrial manufacturing environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Good planning and organizational skills
- Knowledge of procurement software and tools
- Familiarity with legal and regulatory requirements related to procurement.
- Ability to work in a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
