BDG is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Lead Ad Operations Manager to join our dynamic team. This position requires a professional with 5-7 years of experience in digital advertising operations, particularly with Google Ad Manager.
The ideal candidate will work closely with our Business Intelligence and Engineering teams to optimize ad delivery, maximize revenue, and ensure smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage and optimize digital advertising campaigns across multiple platforms
- Pull and analyze complex inventory and reporting data from Google Ad Manager, handling multiple dimensions and metrics
- Make quick, data-driven decisions regarding ad value and pacing
- Develop and maintain revenue and delivery forecasting models using spreadsheets
- Troubleshoot ad delivery issues and implement solutions, working closely with planners and account managers to ensure client satisfaction
- Collaborate with Business Intelligence to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
- Work with Engineering to implement new ad technologies and optimize existing systems
- Ensure compliance with ad quality standards and brand safety guidelines
- Train and mentor junior team members on ad operations best practices
Required Skills and Qualifications :
- 5-7 years of experience in digital advertising operations
- Expert-level knowledge of Google Ad Manager (GAM)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets
- Proficiency with spreadsheet software for modeling and forecasting
- Experience with programmatic advertising platforms
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in ambiguous situations
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Familiarity with ad verification tools and viewability measurement
