We are looking for a Certified Public Accountant to join our team! You will be responsible for preparing tax returns for corporations, partnerships, fiduciaries and individuals.
Pay dependent on experience
Responsibilities :
- Prepare and examine accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports
- Prepare income tax returns for various entities
- Tax planning for small businesses and high networth individuals
- Create new processes to improve tax preparation efficiency
- Meet with clients and / or partners regarding clients tax liabilities
- Analyze accounting transactions for proper presentation on financial statements
Qualifications :
- Previous experience in accounting with a minimum of 1-2 years recent Public Accounting Experience
- Fundamental knowledge of internal revenue code
- Fundamental knowledge of GAAP
- Experience with current computer accounting programs and reporting tools
- Detail and deadline-oriented
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Ultratax CS experience helpful
- Quickbooks experience helpful
