Executive Producer

The Executive Producer oversees the content and production of daily public affairs broadcast in a complex live and live-to-tape operation.

Must be able to mentor, lead, and coach staff members to produce engaging newscasts with accuracy and consistency.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Lead editorial meeting for topic / guest selection
• Manage producers and facilitate rundown creation and on-air product
• Work with on-air talent, content producers and the production team to deliver a superior product
• Ensure copy is written conversationally
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE :

BA / BS Degree with a minimum of 5 years producing experience. Talk show experience.
