The Quality Engineer is the plant leader in continuous improvement of our Quality Systems and defect elimination by implementation of our CAPA, change management, and Supplier Management Programs.

MAIN SCOPE OF JOB

  • Provide Quality Engineering Body of knowledge (ISO 13485) leadership to company and organization
  • Provide tactical leadership and activity for six sigma and lean principles by identifying improvement

opportunities in quality systems, processes, products, regulation compliance, and manufacturing

savings.

Responsible for corrective and preventive actions, and the process for managing for internal,

external, and supplier non-conformances and audits and recommendations for change control.

RESPONSIBILITES

Quality Process Improvement

Lead Quality Process Improvement by utilizing process and tools including PPS, Lean Six Sigma, and other methods

Develop Quality Plan and Procedures and Work Instructions to drive Quality Improvement.

CAPA

Manage CAPA System for Printpack Medical to drive defect elimination.

Execute root cause analysis and PFMA

Supplier Management

Tracking Supplier Non-Conformance, Manage Supplier Audits, Manage Supplier Scorecards, Assisting with New Supplier Management

Customer Complaints

Investigation root cause and implement corrective actions using the CAPA system.

Change Control

Recommend the risk level of proposed changes

Execute validation protocols and statistical analysis to support change.

Safety

Provide technical Quality Leadership when interfacing with site safety concerns
