About the Job : As the Control Systems Design Engineer, you will be responsible for :
- Developing control wiring designs for power and special application equipment.
- Developing necessary parts lists to fulfill customer and standard specification requirements.
- Assisting sourcing with the selection of necessary parts list for job purchase, prepare bill of materials and material releases.
- Working with electrical, mechanical engineering, consultants, customers and vendors to understand and properly apply controls devices and associated wiring designs.
- Assisting with developing best practices using existing software and development tools to improve quality and efficiency.
- Contributing to continuous improvement of design standards and wiring protocols.
- Assisting with special projects as needed.
- Assisting with Sales and quotation development as needed.
Minimum Requirements :
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Entry level position, new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Knowledge of power system design and specifications.
- Engineering experience designing and implementing electrical systems for large manufacturing power systems or industrial equipment is a plus.
- Experience in schematic design using AutoCAD.
- Good communication skills to support customer interaction and design reviews.
Salary : $65,000+ base salary
