Job Description
SUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Employee Engagement play a crucial role in any organization, as they are responsible for creating positive employee experiences that contribute to higher performance and retention rates.
The scope of this role spans across all care settings including, inpatient, ambulatory care, behavioral health and emergency department services.
Administrative Support Duties
Duties include, but are not limited to, Develop and implement strategies to increase employee morale and retention. Conduct surveys and gather feedback to understand employee satisfaction levels.
- Collaborate with other departments to create initiatives and programs that promote employee engagement. Creating and maintaining spread-sheets and presentations;
- creating letters; distribution of incoming mail., faxes, reports and other documents; maintaining appropriate stock levels of office supplies : ordering office supplies and other material;
scheduling appointments; organizing meetings and various other functions.
Recognize and reward employees for exceptional work and contributions

2.Analyze trends and adjust engagement strategies as necessary.
3.Coordinate programs including wellness initiatives, team-building events, leadership training, mentoring, career development, recognition and rewards programs, surveys, and communication strategies.
4.Facilitate ICARE, Employee Engagement retreats and workshops
5.Continue to foster employee recognition programming
6.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills are critical. It's important to be creative, adaptable, and passionate about improving the employee experience.
Strong project management and data analysis skills are also valuable.
7.Coordinate special projects as assigned by Director
8.File, maintain, arrange for storage, retrieve or reproduce documents, records, and reports.
9.Promptly and courteously answer and screen phone calls for the office or department; route calls as appropriate; accurately record messages and deliver to the appropriate party in a timely manner.
10.Greet visitors, guests promptly and courteously; ascertain their needs and provide assistance, if unable or unqualified to assist, promptly refers to the appropriate party or department.
Procurement Duties :
1.Prepare requisitions through PeopleSoft Supply applications
2.Create purchase orders, scan, e-file, and maintain accurate and well-organized electronic records. File and maintain hard copy files.
3.Enter vendor information, monitor and track submitted requisitions.
4.Review of information, including summarization, analysis, interpretation and re-presentation in a different format. Obtain signatures for requisition approvals and payments
5.Maintain inventory of equipment and supplies
6.Other related duties as assigned and directed by Director of Employee Engagement and Wellness
Minimum Qualifications
1. A Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in Public Health, Public Administration, Business Administration, Social Work, Psychology or Rehabilitation Counseling; and
2. Two (2) years of full-time experience in medically-oriented health care and medical support systems environment, one (1) year of which included experience in an administrative or supervisory capacity in such occupations as physical, occupational, inhalation, speech and audiology therapy or as Medical / Laboratory Technologist, Microbiologist (various specialties), Chemist (biochemist), Radiation and X-Ray Technician;
or two (2) years of responsible level experience in business management systems or general administration including one (1) year in a supervisory or administrative capacity; or
3. A Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university in disciplines listed in 1 above; and
4. Three (3) years of full-time experience, as described in 2 above, including two (2) years of experience in an administrative or supervisory capacity in occupations, as listed in 2 above; or
5. A satisfactory equivalent combination of education, training and / or experience.
