Position Overview :

Maü Miami is seeking a diligent and energetic Barback to support our bartending team. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about the hospitality industry and committed to providing exceptional service by ensuring the bar area is well-stocked, clean, and efficiently organized.

As a Barback, you will be instrumental in maintaining the flow of service and assisting bartenders in delivering a top-notch experience to our guests.

Key Responsibilities :

• Assist bartenders by stocking and replenishing bar inventory, including liquor, beer, wine, and garnishes.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware, cleaning bar surfaces, and disposing of trash.
• Prepare and restock bar with ice, glassware, napkins, straws, and other necessary items.
• Ensure that all bar equipment is clean and in good working order.
• Support bartenders by running orders, preparing garnishes, and assisting with drink preparation as needed.
• Monitor and restock bar supplies and communicate any shortages to the bar manager or lead bartender.
• Assist in the setup and breakdown of the bar area before and after service.
• Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing guest inquiries and needs.
• Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe and clean working environment.
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay updated on menu changes and service protocols.

Qualifications :

• Previous experience in a fast-paced bar or restaurant environment preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift and carry heavy items, and perform repetitive tasks.
