Description :
The Sr. Process Mechanic is responsible for undertaking equipment, utility, and HVAC systems planned maintenance in accordance with the planned maintenance schedule, undertaking unplanned maintenance in accordance with issued work orders, and supporting GBI operations as required.
The Sr. Process Mechanic is responsible for maintaining the facility, utilities, and equipment in a safe, clean, and compliant manner to ensure manufacturing operations can proceed uninterrupted in accordance with company goals and client project needs.

Specific Duties :
- Work with the Sr. Manager of Facilities & Engineering to prepare the annual planned shutdown(s) for equipment, utility, and HVAC systems.
- Work with the Sr. Manager of Facilities & Engineering to prepare the annual Preventative Maintenance (PM) plan.
- Work with the Sr. Manager of Facilities and Engineering to prepare a monthly PM plan for equipment, utility and HVAC systems.
- Undertake PMs in accordance with the monthly PM plan for equipment and utility systems.
- Manage external contractor(s) to undertake PMs in accordance with the monthly PM plan HVAC systems.
- Undertake unplanned maintenance in accordance with issued work orders for equipment and utility systems.
- Manage external contractor(s) to undertake unplanned maintenance in accordance with issued work orders for equipment and utility systems (where work cannot be undertaken in-house).
- Manage external contractor(s) to undertake unplanned maintenance in accordance with issued work orders for HVAC systems.
- Work with the Sr. Manager of Facilities & Engineering to prepare key performance indicators for the equipment, utilities, and HVAC maintenance and work order activities.
- Participate in routine safety briefings with the facilities and engineering team.
- Ensure materials, consumables, and spare parts are prepared in advance to allow PMs to be undertaken in accordance with the monthly PM plan.
- Ensure materials, consumables and spare parts are prepared in advance to allow activities to be undertaken in accordance with the annual shutdown plan.
- Implement new engineering tools, materials, consumables, and spare part systems including defining storage location / methods, inventory stocking requirements, inventory use tracking, inventory expiration, and inventory replenishment ordering with materials management.
- Organize current materials, consumables, and spare parts within the new system.
- Order materials, consumables, and spare parts in a timely manner to ensure that availability for planned maintenance and annual shutdown requirements.
- Ensure all PM documentation, annual shutdown documentation and work order documentation is complete in a timely manner in accordance with the requirements of the Quality Management System.
- Assist in equipment, utility and HVAC system investigations / corrective actions in accordance with the requirements of the Quality Management System.
- Ensure all investigation documentation is complete in a timely manner in accordance with the requirements of the Quality Management System.
- Maintain training in accordance with the Quality Management System.
- Ensure all mechanical spaces, mezzanines, and ceiling spaces are appropriately finished, dust-free, neat and organized with no unauthorized / improper storage of equipment, materials, consumables and / or spare parts.
- Support facility calibration and validation activities in accordance with the requirements of the Sr. Manager of Facilities & Engineering.
- Support facility construction activities in accordance with the requirements of the with the Sr. Manager of Facilities & Engineering.
Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience :
- Minimum of 5 years facility / industrial maintenance experience.
- Technical writing skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
- Must be willing to work out of hours as needed.
