Must have open availability to work st, nd and rd shift as scheduled. Schedules are created a week in advance where a few last minute changes are to be expected.

The Research Technician serves as an integral member of the site and study team during various study processes, including pre-admit, admission, orientation, conduct, discharge, and study close.
Essential Functions :
- Conduct Procedures : Perform conduct procedures in strict compliance with the study protocol, Good Clinical Practice standards, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), QA / QC procedures, OSHA guidelines, and other applicable state and local regulations.
- Clinical Trials Assistance : Provide assistance in the execution of clinical trials.
- Participant Safety : Ensure the well-being and safety of study participants.
- Administrative and Operational Support : Provide necessary administrative and operational support.
Qualifications and Education :
- High school diploma or
- Advanced medical procedure training or Phlebotomist certification is required.
Experience :
- years of experience in a clinical environment.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above.
Certification / Licensure :
Must have a current CPR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation card
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities :
- Ability to obtain vital signs and perform ECGs.
- Ability to perform telemetry and insertion of intravenous catheters, or a willingness to learn.
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple competing priorities.
- Ability to work with tight deadlines.
- Ability to function independently within a team environment.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills with strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions :
Extended periods of sitting, standing, walking, stooping, bending, and lifting materials and supplies weighing up to pounds.
Physical Demands :
- Bending and leaning for up to hours, changing position approximately every minutes.
- Variable hours including nights and weekends.
Work Environment :
- Predominantly clinical conduct environment.
- Non-supervisory, non-managerial role.
