ER Veterinarian for Colorado

We are searching for an Associate Veterinarian to join the team at a Small Animal General, multi-doctor, AAHA, independently owned practice.

PRACTICE HIGHLIGHTS

You would be joining a collaborative team of doctors : 9 doctors total, one owner.

• Over 3-4 support staff per doctor for GP, two three per ER
• Certifications : Fear Free for some doctors, working toward more plus practice
• Compensation : ER DVMs are paid a base per shift plus production. Production : 10%. Generally salary would be $150k - $200k.
• GP paid $150,000-200,000 salaried or base plus production. Production 20%
• Vacation 2 weeks
• PTO 40 hours sick, FMLA paid through state
• Non-compete not required

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Appointment schedule 20 to 40 minutes depending on doctor and case

Vacation - 2 weeks

Week-ends varies depending on scheduling

Overnights if ER, 7 : 00 p.m. to 7 : 00 a.m. Currently we have one DVM that only works days, and the other only overnights.

Location : Aurora is Colorado's third largest city with a diverse population of more than 398000. Although its highly residential quality and proximity to Denver make Aurora seem like simply a suburb of the larger metropolis, this bustling city has a flavor all its own.

With seven golf courses, a reservoir beach, hiking trails and a multi-use Sports Park, the city is a major hub of athletics and hometown to numerous pro football, basketball, hockey and soccer players and coaches.

History : Opened since 1985, the practice has been proudly serving pets and people throughout Aurora, Colorado. As an American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) accredited clinic since 1985, our team of veterinarians and support staff adheres to the highest standards of facility and pet care.

Facility-always working on maintenance, exam rooms updated. Two levels. Elevator.

Equipment : state of the art. Thinking about adding CT.
