POSITION SUMMARY :
Integrates network and voice systems into the FHCP network, which encompasses all locations and internet access. Provides complex, high-level technical support for network and voice systems, and carries out novel and / or complex assignments requiring the development of new and / or improved techniques and procedures.
Design network topologies to fulfill business requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS :
Education, skills and experience :
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field of Information Technology or equivalent experience and 8 years experience as a Network Engineer.
- CCNA required or ability to obtain CCNA certification within the first 6 months of employment.
- CCNP preferred, CCNP Security preferred, CCIE preferred.
- Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of a range of networking and voice software and hardware systems and related technologies.
- Demonstrate the ability to install, configure, and maintain voice systems, networks, and / or related hardware and software.
- Demonstrate the ability to analyze and assess network / voice architecture requirements and determine optimum, cost-effective solutions.
- Demonstrate the ability of planning Network and Voice systems monitoring and capacity management.
- Knowledge of network / voice systems infrastructure requirements and standards.
- Knowledge of network security systems, applications, procedures, and techniques.
- Ability to plan, develop, and coordinate multiple projects.
- Knowledge of contract documents and specifications.
- Demonstrate the ability to develop and present educational programs and / or workshops.
- Demonstrate the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical personnel.
