Summary
The Checker will be responsible for performing various warehouse duties, such as checking the quantity and accuracy of the items.
Work Hours : Monday to Friday 10 : 00 am to 7 : 30 pm and alternative Saturday.
Seniority Level : Entry Level Employment Type : Full-time
Compensation : This hourly, non-exempt position pays from $20 to $23 per hour, with overtime compensated at 1.5 times the base rate.
New hires usually earn between $5,500 and $68,000 annually, or more, depending on experience, overtime hours, and bonuses.
To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to do the following :
- Responsible for reading shipping orders to determine quantity, quality and accuracy of items packed.
- Upload pictures to database of packed and shipped orders loaded to customer, third party or MSI vehicles.
- Ensure the accuracy of all shipping documents, gather and maintain all data relative to shipping activities.
- Restock items and conduct inventory.
- Conduct daily and / or weekly audits of staged locations in the warehouse racks, etc.
- Driving a forklift may be required to perform all duties related to checker, shipping and receiving.
- Review internal checker system daily to clear all checker entries for invoicing. This includes working with our IA department when required.
- Complete Inventory Check and Picture Upload requests submitted in the system. Process Return Manual Authorization (RMA) paperwork and documentation.
- Perform additional duties as required and or requested.
Additionally the candidate must meet the following Education and / or Experience requirements :
- 1-2 years of warehouse experience.
- Forklift experience preferred.
- Knowledge of using computer or tablet a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
- High School Education preferred.
- Two (2) plus years experience in a warehouse environment.
