About the Role
The Senior Manager Paid Search role is a team lead role meant for a paid search wizard who loves coaching digital marketers, assisting on strategy & account management and directly managing larger digital ad accounts.
This individual craves working at the intersection of paid search execution and people management.
The ideal candidate is confident in their ability to drive improvements in paid search account performance, but also to manage and develop some of our awesome talent.
Client & Team Revenue Oversight :
- Serve as the main point of contact and client team lead to manage 2-5 MM clients
- Responsible for the day-to-day management, analysis, and optimizations.
- Potential opportunity to manage 1 or more account managers or senior account managers
- Revenue & retention responsibilities for team accounts
- Participate in onboardings, renewal calls, and other important client communications
- Work with the team to drive paid search account strategy, forecasting, and planning
- Analyze performance data and KPIs
- Create and deliver quarterly performance reviews for your direct reports
- Run weekly team meetings to track progress toward client & team goals
- Participate in search audits and work with pitch teams to win new business
Paid Search & Process :
- Build, launch, and continuously monitor / optimize Google, Bing, and other Paid Search ad campaigns in the platform to client-driven KPIs such as CPL, ROAS, etc.
- Lead budget pacing and optimization implementation
- Assist in forecasting, budget planning, and product mix allocation
- Develop, create, and launch robust testing plans
- Think creatively to develop innovative tactics and strategies that drive results for clients
- Assist with and run advanced training on new features and services
- Create best practices, and assist in developing process documents
- Manage the Account Managers who will be assisting with your portfolio of clients
ABOUT YOU
- 4+ Years of direct paid search client management including paid search strategy development, execution & client relationship management
- Must have a strong focus on project management, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Must have experience launching and managing Performance Max campaigns
- Experience with SA360 is a plus
- Strong understanding of marketing attribution & alternative measurement methodologies
- Experience working with Analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics
- Experience managing app campaigns and demand gen campaigns a plus
- Experience presenting digital marketing strategy to C-Suite and executive audiences
- Familiar with optimizations based on offline conversion tracking
- Passion for crunching numbers, analyzing data, and navigating spreadsheets
- Have the ability to be persuasive when discussing paid search performance with clients and your team
- Driven’ and Innovative’ are attributes commonly associated with you
- 4-year college degree or equivalent work experience
