Affordable Housing - Real Estate Accountant$95k / yr
We are seeking for adedicated and experienced Real Estate Accountant to join our team with asalary of up to $95k / year.
This role is critical in ensuring accurate financialmanagement across our residences. The ideal candidate will have at least 5years of experience in property accounting, with a preference for those whohave worked within the affordable housing or assisted living sectors.
Keyresponsibilities include managing financial transactions and reporting,ensuring accurate account reconciliations, participating in the monthly closeprocess, preparing month-end financial reports, and assisting in year-endaudits.
The successful candidate will possess an associate’s degree inaccounting or finance (bachelor’s preferred), proficiency with Yardi Voyagerand Microsoft Office Suite, strong attention to detail, and excellentcommunication and leadership skills.
Initially, this rolerequires in-office presence to ensure proper acclimation to our processes, withpotential for a hybrid schedule after 1-3 months based on performance andfamiliarity with the role.
