Forklift Operator - up to $19 / hr
PRIDESTAFF is currently accepting applications for an immediate opening for a Warehouse Associate / Forklift Operator with a growing company in the Hartford area.
PrideStaff has partnered with one of the world’s leading manufacturers of high-end injection molding machines for plastics processing who are experts on efficient injection molding.
Objective Day to Day Warehouse work including general warehouse maintenance, shipping and receiving, performing cycle counts, loading and unloading complicated and heavy machinery with precision and care, using crane / forklift with safety in mind at all times, building pallets, and other warehouse tasked duties as assigned by higher management.
Personality requirements Positive attitude, approachable, safety and detail oriented, takes pride and ownership in work accomplished.
Experience and Education One year of prior experience in using forklift and crane. Should be able to take pride and ownership in work that has been accomplished.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Crate / pallet preparation and building
- Unloading machinery / loading machinery onto trucks
- Use of forklift, crane, cherry pickers, etc
- Documentation of incoming packages
- Light handyman work
- Department maintenance
- Assisting Engineering and Prep Departments with various special projects
- Picking, Packing, Shipping, Receiving
- Cycle counts
- Other industrial / maintenance duties as assigned
Must be willing to submit to a background check and drug screen!
Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to) : Per Hour
