Overview :
Gecko Hospitality is conducting a search on behalf of a hotel in Daytona Beach, FL, for an experienced Director of Finance (DOF) .
This strategic and hands-on role involves overseeing all financial operations, including financial reporting, budgeting, tax compliance, payroll, accounts payable, and general accounting.
As a key financial leader, the DOF will support the property’s leadership team with financial insights to drive strategic decisions and ensure regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee financial reporting with precision and timeliness
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and financial standards
- Manage payroll, accounts payable, and other accounting operations
- Support the General Manager with financial insights and reporting
- Implement income strategies to enhance property performance
Qualifications :
- Extensive experience in finance management within the hospitality or real estate sector
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax compliance
- Ability to work independently with a hands-on, detail-oriented approach
- Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and income management
- Effective collaborator for working closely with property leadership
Compensation :
Annual salary of $100,000 to $120,000 , depending on experience and qualifications.
