Job Description
Candidates will be responsible for the mechanical assembly of large mixing machines for the tire industry. You will utilize hand and power tools to assemble machinery, work off blueprints to ensure the product meets customer specifications, and use an overhead crane to move large materials for assembly.
Additionally, you will assist in painting materials prior to assembling the machines.
Responsibilities
- Assemble large mixing machines for the tire industry using hand and power tools.
- Work off blueprints to ensure products meet customer specifications.
- Utilize an overhead crane to move large materials for assembly.
- Assist in painting materials prior to machine assembly.
Essential Skills
- Mechanical assembly experience, particularly in machine building.
- Experience using an overhead crane.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Possession of own tools up to an inch.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in a job shop environment.
- Experience in assembly, mechanical work, pneumatic and hydraulics.
- Proficiency with hand and power tools.
- At least 3 years of mechanical assembly experience (Auto Mechanic, Military Mechanics, Diesel Mechanics are applicable).
- Steel-toed shoes required.
