Job Details
Responsibilities :
- Manage cost accounting processes, including accurate reporting of cost of goods manufactured and sold.
- Establish and maintain bills of materials (BOMs) and standard costing (material, labor, and overhead) in ERP systems across multiple sites.
- Lead annual updates to standard costs with cross-department collaboration.
- Review and reconcile cost variances monthly.
- Maintain and implement perpetual inventory systems at all sites.
- Coordinate monthly closing processes and participate in budgeting.
- Ensure accurate inventory reporting and reconciliation.
- Provide timely and accurate financial information, including product costs.
- Analyze manufacturing processes with plant managers to improve decision-making.
- Maintain the integrity of accounting systems and provide account analysis.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- 4+ years of cost accounting experience in manufacturing.
- 2 years of management or supervisory experience.
- Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, verify financial documents, and communicate financial information effectively.
- Proficient in relevant computer systems and software.
