The Merchandising Intern will assist with maintaining the overall presentation of the golf shop, ensuring the merchandise is organized and retail merchandise is presented for sale in professional manner.

The Merchandising Intern will provide customer assistance in all aspects of the retail golf operation.

To be successful in this role, you thrive in working in a fast-paced, member-driven environment. You have a keen ability to establish and maintain relationships, learn quickly, work well under pressure, can multi-task, and think creatively.

About Grey Oaks Country Club :

Considered one of the premier Country Clubs in Florida, Grey Oaks opened in 1993 and encompasses the Grey Oaks and Estuary communities, along with 54 holes of championship golf.

Requirements :

Job Responsibilities :

Create an overall positive Pro Shop shopping experience for members and their guests.

Develop and foster member relationships.

Work with the Sr. Director of Golf to execute the golf retail vision for the season.

Display, signage, promotion and communication of retail offerings and events

Receive, price, and ticket all incoming inventory and merchandise.

Conducts business with an unwavering code of ethics and confidentiality.

Must perform other duties as assigned.

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications :

0-2 years’ experience in a sales or merchandising

A genuine commitment to a career in the private club / hospitality industry

Exceptional communication skills

Ability to multi-task and sensitive to time requirements of hospitality jobs

Detail-oriented, honest, respectful, dedicated, ethical, caring, positive, hard-working, punctual, and enthusiastic

Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-end, professional environment

Good listener

Desire to make every member experience extraordinary

Flexible and eager to learn and take on new challenges

Prior club experience preferred
