Job Summary / Company : Sparks Group has partnered with a leading Government Contractor in Western Fairfax County seeking a Compensation Analyst for a contract to hire opportunity.

Responsibilities

  • Manage our annual equity review process that ensures our pay positioning is appropriate for all employees as well as work on compensation for acquisitions
  • Distribute the analysis and collaborate with other compensation partners to complete the process, submit pay adjustments, and create pay statements.
  • Serve as a contributor and the backup to your comp team members on several other impactful programs and tools :
  • Merit Process
  • Total Rewards Statement
  • BetterComp Administration market pricing technology
  • Participate in Special Projects
  • Assist with Benefits during open enrollment and with acquisitions

Qualification / Skills / Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources management, business administration or a related field preferred; Additional related work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
  • 3+ years experience in HR preferably in compensation or total rewards or 7+ years of experience in lieu of a bachelor's degree
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint required; Advanced Excel proficiency strongly desired
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and collaboration skills are required
  • Good communication (oral and written), organizational, presentation and stakeholder management skills are required
  • Ability to draw conclusions from data and develop recommendations is required
  • Experience or comfortability working in a large, organization
  • Previous experience with a Government Contractor preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously is required
  • Experience managing large processes in Excel requiring splitting / distributing files and then consolidating inputs is desired
  • Experience with Workday Required
  • Experience with Fidelity Preferred
