Dog Daycare Supervisor

We here at Paw Oasis are looking to hire a Dog Daycare Supervsior with at least 2 years of prior experience working for a Dog Daycare and Boarding Center in a supervisor or manager capacity.

Experience running the front of the house and overseeing the back of the house in a supervisor capacity is a must.

We are looking for a natural leader who always has a positive attitude, is hard-working, has a good work ethic, has good time management, and welcomes feedback to grow! Compensation : $15 per hour (plus $2 - $6 tip pool and bathing tips)

Responsibilities :

Daily tasks include :

• Opening or closing the facility without supervision providing oversight and delegation to kennel staff caring for pets
• Providing supervision and assistance to our daycare staff in yards with their play groups for up to 30 dogs per person
• Facilitating leading our staff in daily care for dogs in boarding (including feeding, administering medication, and taking them out for walks and activities among other tasks).
• Cross Trained to work the front desk checking in / out dogs, scheduling, and other admin duties
• Bathing, drying, and brushing dogs on a daily basis
• Maintaining cleanliness of our play yards and facility by following a daily checklist
• Minimizing the stress of the dogs and staff by providing effective leadership and being responsive to the team's needs
• Maintaining accurate records in Gingr, creating report cards for pets, and completing checklists and other reports
• Working as a member of a team in a fast-paced environment by using effective communication skills with customers and the team including written communication with other team members and managers

Qualifications :

The ideal candidate :

• Has 2+ years experience in dog daycare, boarding facility and training and bathing dogs
• Supervisory experience of 1+ years in boarding daycare or vet demonstrating oversight of opening and closing
• Is a high school graduate (or has their GED)
• Has excellent written and oral communication skills
• Is self-motivated and can work independently
• Has a proven ability to follow instructions and learn new things
• Takes initiative on the job
• Has open availability, and can work weekdays, weekends and holidays
• Is able and willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions and be on one's feet for long periods of time.
• Has 3+ years of previous work experience demonstrating dependability
